‘Out on the Edges:
Meeting the needs of all LGBT people in West London’
Key note speaker: Clare Summerskill – Comedienne
This conference will:
· Bring together statutory services, voluntary organisations, LGBT groups and LGBT residents to focus on the needs of LGBT people in West London
· Provide a networking opportunity for those working on LGBT issues
· Understand the issues and explore how to address needs of LGBT people, specifically mental health needs, older LGBT people and Muslim LGBT people
· Provide an opportunity for the main political parties to discuss their LGBT policies
· An update report on the West London LGBT Development Project – feedback on residents survey, services survey and future activities

Now in its third year, the annual West London LGBT conference is organised by the West London LGBT Forum, part of the West London Network.
The West London Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Forum was established in 2006 to address the issues and needs of LGBT people across the West London boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hammersmith and Fulham, Hillingdon, Hounslow, and Richmond upon Thames.

Speakers confirmed so far!
Lindsey Rivers from Age of Diversity will speak
on Older LGBT issues. Lindsey will be joined by the successful Opening Doors -
Tim Price from PACE will be joining us to
discuss Mental Health and Wellbeing needs of LGBT people and how we can improve
services and support available to those LGBT people who need them.
Pav Ahktar from Imaan will be discussing the
needs and issues of Muslim LGBT people, who often face multiple barriers
accessing services, on how we can improve the support available.
For the first time ever, we will have a ‘Question
Time’ style hustings – LGBT representative from the main political parties will
be answering questions from the floor. Proceedings will be chaired by Colin
Izzard from the North West London Lesbian and Gay Group.
